UPCOUNTRY DOG PARK Supporters and Volunteers Wanted! Dogs who get regular exercise make better neighbors. Dog parks provide a safe, fenced-in area for dogs to run and play off-leash. The Upcountry Dog Park Committee is a group of local volunteers dedicated to creating a dog park in Makawao. The selected area is an undeveloped, partially-fenced, two-acre spot behind the recycling center (adjacent to Eddie Tam).
